Our Opportunity: Based at our Nga Awa Purua Generation site, 15 minutes from Taupo, you'll be joining a team of 10 Geothermal Controllers on a 24/7 operation of our generation assets - Nga Awa Purua, Rotokawa, Kawerau and Ngatamariki. With your team who are passionate about producing New Zealand's renewable energy, you will operate, manage and continuously improve Mercury's geothermal generation assets to ensure that Mercury and our clients meet their business objectives in accordance with technical, quality, safety and environmental policies and requirements.
Working a 24/7 roster, you can enjoy the lifestyle of a 4 on 4 off roster system and work within integrated teams with support readily available. You will be working alongside another Geothermal Controller while on shift to collaborate and share knowledge and ideas.
This role provides you with training and development opportunities and is often the gateway towards roles such as Optimisation and Process Engineering roles. This role has an experience and competency focussed salary structure.
