We are driven to find better answers for our importers and exporters by leveraging technology, innovation, and the capability of our people.We are currently seeking an administrator to join our Warehousing team on a permanent basis. The Warehousing team is responsible for handling pulp and timber cargo and container packing operations. Reporting to the Container Terminal Manager, the General Cargo Administrators provide a central logistics point for planning packing, warehousing and shipping activities. The role also includes front line support to our customers.Key responsibilities:You'll handle day-to-day customer support and contract administration. This includes planning for shipping and resolving any issues that arise.You'll be responsible for stock control activities, which involve tallying, data management, and conducting stock takes.Administration - purchase orders, invoicing and reconciliations,As issues arise, you'll provide support to the operating teams.Identifying opportunities to enhance procedures and practices within the warehousing operations is an essential aspect of this role.You'll champion health and safety practices to ensure a safe working environment for everyone.About you:Previous experience within an administrative and customer service role an advantage.Strong IT skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written.Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks.This role requires a minimum of 40 hours over a 7-day period including both day and afternoon shifts, as well as ad hoc weekend shifts.
