General Administrative Assistant (Sales and Operations) The Karaka Pines Group of lifestyle retirement villages is expanding and recruiting.We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time General Assistant to join our Village Sales and Operations team based in Tauranga.What we offer:A varied and busy workload – no two days are the same!Ongoing professional development and support from our experienced team.An opportunity to be part of a fast growing, innovative company.About Us:Karaka Pines Villages currently has seven villages under management, and an eighth underway. The villages are spread across the North and South Islands.Led by our CEO, Adam Yates, who has over 25 years' experience in the retirement village sector, our emphasis is on developing and operating villages with the resident's wellbeing at the heart of everything we do.Breaking away from the traditional model where residents pay a large fee for the services and facilities provided but do not receive any capital gain on their home, we create retirement villages where the residents are the true winners retaining their capital gain and receiving all the benefits of living in a vibrant community. We pride ourselves on delivering a high level of service and remaining resident focused throughout. At a Karaka Pines village there truly is so much more to gain.About the Role and You:You will provide general administrative support and assistance to our rapidly expanding Village Sales and Operations Department and will be based at our main office in Tauranga.The successful candidate will have the following attributes:Excellent organisational skills.The ability to manage a busy workload and juggle several competing priorities competently.The ability to work under direction and as part of a team, and but also to show initiative where required and work autonomously.The ability and desire to be resident welfare focused.Competent in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
