Fundraising Manager

Since 1910, right across Aotearoa, our lifeguards have saved thousands of lives and ensured millions have returned home safely after a day at the beach. 
Surf Life Saving NZ (SLSNZ) is truly unique, delivering proactive surf lifeguarding and essential emergency rescue services, a range of public education and beach safety programmes, member education, training and development, as well as being a highly respected sport. We have a vision that no one drowns on the beach in Aotearoa New Zealand.
Reporting to our Head of Commercial and Marketing and part of a high performing team, the purpose of this role is to develop and implement a fundraising strategy. Supported by a donor care co-ordinator, the role covers direct marketing, regular giving, digital fundraising, major donations, trusts and foundations, corporate giving, bequests and the promotion of the SLSNZ Foundation. 
By inspiring and attracting individuals and companies to engage with SLSNZ you will help build lifelong relationships with those supporters helping us secure financial resources required to enable our lifeguards to save hundreds of lives each year.
