Archbishop Paul Martin SM is the current Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Wellington.Supporting and working closely with Archbishop, General Manager and Senior Leadership Team, you will be responsible for the provision and oversight of the fundraising function for the Archdiocese. You will assist in developing, managing, and implementing a sustainable long-term fundraising strategy that supports and drives revenue growth that supports the mission of the Archdiocese at both an Archdiocesan and Parish level.Core to your role will be to create and foster a culture of fundraising within the Archdiocese and develop and implement a robust planned giving strategy, donor acquisition/stewardship plans, nurture and maintain relationships with the parishes, and help identify opportunities and facilitate fundraising campaigns to encourage donors and parishioners to give.This is a fixed-term contract opportunity for 24 months, with the possibility to extend, based in Thorndon Quay, Wellington. Hours are full-time (37.5 hours) and flexible working arrangements will be considered for the right candidate.This will be a challenging and rewarding role with great scope to shape and make the role your own, contribute positively to the organisation and Archdiocese, and make a real meaningful impact.
