Does building strong relationships come naturally to you?Work for ST JOHN - NZ's most trusted charityFive-month fixed term opportunity working 40 hours per weekWe are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive individual to join our Regional Fundraising and Marketing Team. You will support the development and implementation of St John's Mid/Major Giving Programme, of our Grant Programme and assist the Regional Fundraising and Marketing Manager. The role will see you working towards and achieving regional revenue targets while maintaining our strong brand reputation in the market. This role is perfect for someone with exposure to events and fundraising activity, Grants and Major Gifts.Some of the key activities for this role include;Support the creation of a mid-major level giving propositions and processesLeading our mid/major level giving programme, engaging with supporters and fundraising performance,Build effective relationships and partnerships across the region to enhance our fundraising and brand to supporters and communitiesSupport with grants proposals and accountabilitiesThe successful applicant will demonstrate:Highly motivated "self-starter" capable of managing competing priorities and ability to work under tight deadlines.Understanding of fundraising best-practice, specifically in relation to Grants and Major GiftsStrong administration skillsAttention to detail, strong planning and problem solving skillsStrong organisational and verbal communication skills.Proven experience within an events, fundraising or partnership based environmentA passion for fundraising and the ability to follow leads and develop further relationshipsInitiative, flexibility and a solutions focused approachIf you're an experienced fundraiser with excellent communication and organisation skills we'd love to hear from you.
