Sportsmed Southern Physiotherapy continues to grow and we are looking for the best physio rock star to join our elite team of therapists. Sportsmed is immersed in the Southland community and is the official physiotherapist for Rugby Southland, Southland Stags, Sharks Basketball, Invercargill Netball Centre, Southland Sports Academy as well as a variety of rugby clubs, secondary schools and local businesses.
There is also opportunity to gain skills working in the Integrated Care pathway as well as providing return to work, concussion and pain management services.
With two modernised clinics, one located in the centre of the world renowned ILT Stadium Southland, and one inside Snap fitness in town, Sportsmed is right in the middle of the action. We pride ourselves on evidence based practice and have made significant investment into new technology to reflect this.
Sportsmed requires a full-time physiotherapist to join the team in June 2024. This position would be very attractive to a therapist who is keen to gain valuable experience working alongside therapists who have and do work with elite athletes including but not limited to the Stags, Sharks and the Southern Steel. The applicant should have an interest in sport and dealing with elite athletes, although a wide variety of patients are seen.
An excellent remuneration package will be available and tailored to the right candidate. Ongoing education is encouraged and regular in-services and mentoring are held in a relaxed and friendly environment.
