Front End Developer

FMG are looking for an experienced Front End Developer to take a lead role in our newly formed Channel Development team. You will be required to provide development expertise in support of FMG’s existing applications, as well as delivering enhancements or new solutions that cater for FMG’s core business needs.

The ideal candidate will be pro-active, have strong communication and customer facing skills and enjoy working within a highly collaborative and team focused environment.
You will also need:
A tertiary level qualification in an IS discipline;
2+ years practical React development experience essential;
A leadership focus;
Experience in working in an Agile development environment;
Strong solution integration skills;
Experience with HTML5/CSS, Visual Studio, JSON, Java Script, .Net, CMS, REST API, Node.js, OAuth (Desirable), JWT (JSON Web Token) (Desirable);
Knowledge and use of development administration tools such as Jenkins and GitHub;
Knowledge of Guidewire or Insurance solutions would be advantageous and
Practical experience working in a Microsoft environment.
