What you'll be doing
You will be working with existing design patterns, initially on our websites and customer portal - our most important digital experience here at NZTE. You will work collaboratively with a wide range of people (UX designers, product and technical leads), synthesising information gathered about our websites and convert this to a well understood and loved design.
You will be comfortable working with JavaScript, (React, Redux) and Typescript and potentially something mobile friendly like Xamarin or Swift. You will also have hands on experience interpreting designs from Sketch, Zeplin or Figma because we care deeply that the integrity of the proposition is maintained into the code.
You will be the only Front End Developer, but not alone as we have other full stack people on the team. You will be confident in your abilities and have ideally at least three years experience as a design and/or development professional.
