Freight Handler

The Role Within the day of a Freight Handler you will assist in branch set up, freight handling and sorting of freight. Along with dealing with any late freight arriving at the depot. It is imperative you are a honest, reliable, punctual, and fit individual, who thrives working within teams. With a sense of humour, be able to use your initiative and enjoy fast-paced environments. You will be hardworking, able to tolerate physical/noisy work conditions and can lift heavy items (up to 25kgs) Hours for this role are Tuesday to Thursday 1:00am - 8:00am in our Napier branch. Requirements Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential Physically fit (able to lift up to 25kgs) Sound knowledge of local and regional NZ geography Immediate start $24.25 per hour + $3.50 per hour night shift allowance Work in a dynamic, rewarding, challenging work environment with a dedicated team All applicants will be required to provide proof of their eligibility to work in New Zealand and undertake pre-employment screening including a criminal history check.
