 We are currently seeking an experienced Freezer Supervisor to join our team in Invercargill. The Freezer Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the operations of our freezer department, ensuring efficient workflow, maintaining inventory accuracy, and upholding strict food safety standards. 
Skills & ExperienceKey Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate freezer operations, including receiving, storage, and dispatch of frozen goods.Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper handling of frozen products and maintenance of equipment.Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular stock checks to prevent shortages or overages.Train and mentor freezer staff on proper handling procedures, safety protocols, and best practices.Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and optimise efficiency.Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the freezer area to uphold food safety standards.Troubleshoot any issues that arise, such as equipment malfunctions or inventory discrepancies.Requirements: Previous experience working in a freezer environment, preferably in a supervisory role.Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for handling frozen products.Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor a team.Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management and record-keeping.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.Forklift license and experience operating warehouse equipment (preferred).Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.Bidfood Invercargill is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applications from individuals of all backgrounds.
