The Business
A large and successful consumer brand is currently seeking a FP&A Analyst to sit within their dynamic and highly motivated finance team. This organisation is winning business nationwide on the strength of their relationships and innovative service offering. They are they are looking for a driven, enthusiastic and commercially minded FP& A Analyst to provide timely and accurate financial analysis and operational recommendations to the leadership and management team.

The Role
Reporting into the Commercial Manager your responsibilities will include:
Participate in preparation of financial models in support of business plan.
Closely monitor industry trends, competitive landscape and summarize industry dynamics.
Assist in valuation analyses and help define strategic rationale for new business development activities.
Support creation of business plan presentations for each project.
Assist Manager and Director working with category teams to execute strategic plans and develop actions plans for core initiatives. Monitor performance of licensing programs and analyse key metrics.
Conduct all financial analysis related to new initiatives or special projects. Take ownership of financial model creation and maintenance and look for ways to implement industry best practices.
Development for cross divisional estimates, research data, and business models.
Prepare budgets & forecasts.
Update/prepare revenue and expense templates for each planning cycle.
Prepare presentations of plan results for each forecast cycle to regional management.

Profile
Its essential for this role that you are immediately available with a CA or CPA qualification (or equivalent) within a complex organisation. You will have demonstrated an analytical approach to problem solving and acute commercial awareness and be able to communicate and influence across the business. You will have a proactive attitude and will have excellent financial modelling and stakeholder management skills.

As this is a temporary contract you must be immediately available or have a maximum notice period of 1 week. Candidates in a permanent role with a 4 week notice period will not be considered.
