Forklift & Machine Operator

Full Time Application Closes 25 May 2024 Southland - Invercargill Plant and System Operator Niagara presents an exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual to step into the role of Forklift and Machine Operator at our Kennington site on a full-time basis.This is a Monday - Friday dayshift position, with secure hours allowing you to harmonize work and life seamlessly. The responsibilities include:• Operating up to a four-tonne forklift and a electric bench saw• Supporting production flow by preparing timber to length, and order• Performing light data entryComprehensive training and continuous support will be provided to the successful candidate. Candidates must have previous forklift driving experience and possess a valid Forklift license or F endorsement. Desirable attributes:• Self-motivated, reliable, and adeptness in unsupervised work• Responsible and trustworthy• Mechanical aptitude and practical• Strong safety focus• Proficient in basic numeracy, and computer literate Niagara maintains a drug-free workplace; mandating pre-employment drug screening for all candidates.
