The RolesAll our forklift work is inside, under cover in our brand new packhouse and cool stores. We have a fleet of new Jungheinrich Lithium Ion electric forklifts – no battery changes needed. They have leading edge technology, Solopilot, and excellent safety features.Cool Stores – Work the Harvest Period, late February to late AprilFor the initial busy harvest period:Receive fruit and moving it into the cool storesShift bins within the cool stores and to the packhouse as neededRoutine safety and maintenance checksPackhouse – Work the Full SeasonThe season starts mid-late February 2021 and goes through to late September.Forklift operations in the packhouseMove bins of fruit and packaging stocks in the packhouseLoad finished goods for dispatch or storage Routine safety and maintenance checksShiftsThere are 2 shifts to choose from:Day Shift 6.00 am – 4.00 pm Monday to SaturdayNight Shift 4.30 pm - 02.30 am Sunday to Friday.Weekend work is mainly at the busy start of the season and is likely to reduce as the season progresses.Skills you NeedFull training on our new forklifts will be provided.
