Reporting to the FSQ Lead, this role is responsible for the daily quality control and quality assurance processes to ensure all ZIWI manufactured products meet the established standards of quality and food safety as set by both ZIWI and regulatory authorities.
Key responsibilities:
Ensure daily quality control measures are being achieved and complete quality checks as required to meet product specifications Complete post manufacture product quality assessment and investigate any non conformance issues Check and ensure integrity of production data and information Assist with plant-based verification audits Liaise with MPI and assist with the administration of the RMP Coordinate and complete internal calibration of equipment Ensure all H & S, environmental and food safety processes and policies are followed Complete internal process and control point validations The person we are seeking will have:
Proven track record with a minimum of three years in a similar QA role, preferable within an FMCG/food production environment – relevant tertiary qualification an advantage Sound knowledge of Animal Product E-cert certification system would be desirable Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across all levels Technical understanding and practical commercial experience A thorough knowledge and understanding of RMP, food safety and HACCP systems A collaborative hands-on approach and can positively influence change across all levels This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a dynamic, rapidly growing business with a global footprint.
