Fixed Term Project Specialist | Holidays Act Programme at Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand Waitaha Canterbury, Christchurch Hours - 1 FTE (40 hoursa week).Status - Fixed termuntil 30th November 2024Location -Programme Office in Christchurch City Centre. There may beopportunity for office flex time as might be agreed with other team members.Mo te tunga |About the roleTheHolidays Act Remediation and Rectification Programme has been initiated onbehalf of the Canterbury and West Coast Districts. We are committed torectifying breaches of the Holidays Act 2003 and ensuring compliance across allpayroll systems and associated processes. Join our team dedicated toremediation activities and ensuring fair treatment for all current and pastemployees.As aProject Specialist Payroll Systems, you will play a crucial role in our Rectificationteam. Reporting to the Rectification Manager, you will contribute to businessanalysis, design, and the successful delivery of future state systemrequirements to ensure compliance with the Holidays Act 2003. This hands-onrole requires specialist knowledge of existing pay-related systems, data flow,and reporting, as well as close collaboration with users and key stakeholders.KeyResponsibilities:Conduct businessanalysis and design for system requirements.Implement systemconfigurations and upgrades.Collaborate closelywith local technical and business teams, as well as vendor staff.Produce programmeoutputs and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.Prioritize andproactively manage time and workload to meet tight deadlines.Minimum 2 years ofbusiness analysis experience.Specialist payrollsystems knowledge.Experience in systemsanalysis, design, configuration, and implementation.Strong stakeholderengagement and workshop facilitation skills.Relevant tertiaryqualification.High EQ and diplomaticcommunication skills.Resilient, energetic,and tenacious with a focus on delivering results.Ability to remain calmunder pressure and work collaboratively in a team environment.Technical knowledge ofsystem design and database concepts.Strong problem-solvingand analytical skills.Experience within largeHR/Payroll change projects.Knowledge of CDHBDistrict pay-related systems, particularly PSe and MicRoster.Experience in a healthenvironment or similar context.- Ko ngatangata, te matua mahi - Puttingpeople at the heart of all we do -We arecommitted to honouring Te Tiriti o Waitangi and its principles by ensuring ourpartnership with Maori are at the forefront of all our conversations.Webelieve in improving, promoting, and protecting the health and well-being ofthe Canterbury and the West Coast community.The cultureatHealth NZ Canterbury, is driven by our a Matou Uara (Our Value - - - - - - - s):Care and respect forothers - Manaaki me te whakaute i te tangata.Nga hua|Benefits of working at Health New ZealandWhen youwork at Health NZ, you are part of a wider whanau that will support you alongyour journey.
