Do you want a c hange of scenery ?APPLY NOWTradestaff have Fitter/Turner jobs available across Bay of PlentyWe are looking for Fitters/Turners with background knowledge and experience with the following (but are not limited to): studying drawings and specifications to determine suitable material, method and sequence of operations, and machine settingsfitting fabricated metal parts into products and assembling metal parts and subassemblies to produce machines and equipmentchecking fabricated and assembled metal parts for accuracy, clearance and fit using precision measuring instrumentssetting guides, stops and other controls on machining tools, setting up prescribed cutting and shaping tools and dies in machines and presses, and setting controls for textile machinesforming metal stock and castings to fine tolerances using machining tools to press, cut, grind, plane, bore and drill metalcutting, threading, bending and installing hydraulic and pneumatic pipes and linespreparing pattern mechanisms to control the operation of textile machines used to spin, weave, knit, sew and tuft fabricdiagnosing faults and performing operational maintenance of machines, and overhauling and repairing mechanical parts and fluid power equipmentmay erect machines and equipment on-siteIdeally, you will be or have: Minimum 3+ years' experienceTrade qualifications preferred however scope and length of experience may substitute for the formal qualificationYour own toolsOwn reliable transportAt least 2 work references100% commitment to Health & SafetyAble to pass a pre-employment drug testIn return we offer competitive rates of pay, varied and challenging work, regular hours with a guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week, as well as long-term opportunities.Minimum pay range $30-$40 depending on experienceAbout Tradestaff: Tradestaff is also a member of the Recruitment & Consulting Services Association (RCSA) of Australia and New Zealand, demonstrating our commitment to professional standards.#J-18808-Ljbffr
