Excellent opportunity to join a successful and well established Auckland based construction company and become a part of a great team We are looking for experienced Welders and Fitters with at least 3 years work experience with a can do attitude Welders are required to Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements Set up components for welding according to specifications e g cut material with powered saws to match measurements Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded Read blueprints and drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures Fitters are required to Layout positioning and securing metal parts and assemblies according to specifications using straightedge combination square calipers and rulers Check fabricated parts to ensure precision and remove rough spots from the workpiece using portable grinder hand file or scraper Fit fabricated parts into structural steel forms and parts using measuring and fitting equipment If you match the above requirements have a great work attitude and are a team player then please send us your CV together with any documentation supporting your work experience to info shieldroofing co nz
