All about the job We are seeking a customer focused, friendly person to workon a casual on-call basis at Arena Fitness Centre.
This role will embrace your passion for creating afantastic customer experience and provide you with a dynamic and friendly team.
You will be responsible for:
carrying out fitness assessments and settingeffective exercise programmes to assist our members to achieve their fitnessgoalsconfirming new memberships and completing newmember inductionsproviding tours of the gym premisesensuring our Arena Fitness Centre is tidy, wellpresented and operating at a high levelanswering customer enquiries, and confirmingmembershipcovering at receptioncompleting general administrative tasksincluding updating membership records and members files.All about you Youwill have worked in the health and fitness industry as an engaging andmotivating fitness trainer. You'll need to show us that you:
have a tertiary qualificationin Exercise Science or Health and Fitness at Level 4 Personal Training orhigherhave great communication skills and thrive onmotivating others to achieve their goalshave a current first aid certificatehave demonstrated initiative and are able workunsupervised and in a teamalways provide a high level of customer serviceand communication skillsare a team player, and a willingness to pulltogether to get the work done.All about Porirua City Porirua City Council isrejuvenating and expanding to prepare for its future growth and continue todevelop a resilient, liveable city for our future generations.
