Financial Planning, Performance & Reporting Lead Tribe (New Zealand) LimitedNewmarket, AucklandAbout the Company:Our client is a forward-thinking business committed to delivering excellence in the their sector, they are dedicated to achieving our strategic objectives and driving commercial success with a focus on innovation and sustainability, they truly are leaders in the industry.About the Role:With a succession plan already in place, we are currently helping our client find a motivated individual to join their team and play a pivotal role in shaping their financial planning, performance, and internal reporting processes.As a Financial Planning, Performance & Reporting Lead, you will steer efforts to strategically plan, enhance performance, and provide insightful internal reporting to support the achievement of organisational goals. You will be at the forefront of financial leadership, leveraging your expertise to unlock processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives.Duties will include: Lead the quarterly and annual business planning process, ensuring alignment with our strategic objectives and three-year integrated plan.Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual finance processes, delivering accurate and timely management reporting to our ELT and Board.Review all analytical work for numerical and commercial accuracy, providing clear insights to stakeholders and driving decision making.Produce quality financial and management reports that track and forecast financial performance, identifying important issues and variances.Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant accounting standards, contributing to the change management process for new accounting standards.Develop and maintain key relationships across the business, enabling effective communication and reporting between business units.Lead the business planning process for a number of key functions, contributing to their success and alignment with strategic direction of the company.Lead direct and indirect reports with integrity, courage, and a commercial focus, advocating a positive culture, vision and strategy.Engage with the wider business to ensure finance involvement in systems change and change management initiatives.About You:CA, CPA, CFA, or equivalent is highly desirable.Minimum of 8 - 10 years of progressive experience in financial planning, performance management, and internal reporting roles with a large complex enterprise business.Strong leadership and people management skills, with a proven ability to drive results in a dynamic environment.Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and levels within the organisation.Apply Now!To find out more, please get in touch with Bonita Wright on 021 877 553 for a confidential chat.To apply for this vacancy you MUST be a New Zealand citizen, resident, or have already secured the right to work in New Zealand and therefore hold a valid visa.At the appropriate stage we will request your references, we ask that you do not include them on your CV when applying.At Tribe we have our guiding light to show us the way.
