Financial Management Group Accountant

We're looking for a candidate to fill this position in an exciting company.

Preparation of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, statutory reporting, and reconciliations for
four separate Green School entities including a Charitable Trust.
Monitor and report on financial performance, and develop points of interest for inclusion in board packs for the
Green School Group
Proficiently use Microsoft Excel and other cloud-based software
Be competent with a good attention to detail
Oversee the development of operational budgets and monitor such budgets
Contribute to business planning and support for the development of new and expanding business strategies
Review, develop and implement financial processes and controls

Preferably but not essentially experience in Education Finance and taxes
You will be a relationship builder, but also interested in simplification and automation
A good understanding of accounting systems, controls and processes
Flexible and resilient to work in an environment of growth
Excellent time management skills and the ability to work with the team to prioritise work based on impact and value
A degree in Business / Accountancy
5+ years' experience working in a management accounting role
Legal rights to work full time in New Zealand
Currently based in New Zealand
