Financial Controller

We're looking for a Financial Controller to manage our Corporate Finance and Administration function and drive system improvements, to provide financial information for decision-making and to control compliance.

Your work
This new role will report to the EGM of Finance and Administration, lead a team of 15 and be based at our Christchurch Head Office (Airport location). Key parts of your role will include:
Managing the Corporate Finance and Administration function
Leading accounting activities, such as the budgeting and forecasting process, financial reporting and the year-end audit process
Ensuring compliance with IFRS and relevant internal policies
Overseeing enhancements to Pronto and Prophix
About You
You'll be an organised and self-motivated Chartered Accountant, with strong commercial and financial accounting experience. We're looking for someone with the following:
Experience working in an ERP environment, continuously managing change and influencing others
Experience managing the year-end process
An inspiring leader able to mentor, coach and develop staff
Ideally, you will have several years of experience as a Finance Manager or in a smaller Financial Controller role and be ready for your next challenge
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
Exceptional attention to detail, while also able to see the bigger picture
