Financial Accounting Team Lead

We're looking for a candidate to fill this position in an exciting company.

A member of the Finance Leadership Team.
Leading the Financial Accounting Team.
Be responsible for statutory accounting and applying accounting standards including Public Benefit Entity IFRS.
Manage annual reporting and general ledger maintenance.
Establish and manage effective and efficient financial services including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Track progress of team projects and deliverables, and report KPI progress and manage forecasts and expenditure through the year.
Operate collaboratively to lead and drive outcomes across the organisation and ensure we deliver our LTP efficiently.

Leadership skills and a proven ability to successfully lead a performing team.
Previous experience in financial accounting, preferably in Local Government.
Be innovative and have a strong desire to strive for successful outcomes.
Chartered Accountant.
Hold a degree level qualification in planning or finance field.
Have a minimum of 7 years in a leadership role in organisational or corporate performance.
