In thisrole you will provide technical accounting support to the SeniorFinancial Accountant and wider organisation with the key finance deliverablesof Annual Report, regular reporting, and financial processing. You will join a team of finance businesspartners, working collaboratively with business units to help facilitate thebest financial decisions and create value for the Taupo district ratepayers andcommunities.

This is the perfect opportunity foran experienced Financial Accountant to take the next step in their career,utilising both technical accounting expertise and ability to effectively buildrelationships. Our ideal candidate will be aqualified accountant (or possess the equivalent experience), and be adept ateffectively utilising a variety of digital platforms and applications (inparticular Excel, and Technology One would be advantageous). Most importantlyyou will have exceptional interpersonal skills that will enable you testablish positive working partnerships at all levels of Council. You'll needto be flexible, adaptable to changing work priorities and focused on continuousimprovement.
