Financial Accountant

About the role:
As the Financial Accountant your role will be multifaceted, along with your core duties you will be involved in various projects and will be able to build your role over time:
Here is a snapshot of what you can expect:
End to end financial accounting
Production of monthly financial reports, analysis and commentary
Responsible for the Group’s Fixed Asset Register and Work In Progress
IRD filing including GST and FBT, ensuring deadlines are met
Complete tax returns for external review
Review and evaluate current finance and accounting processes and provide recommendations for improvement
Provide support for ad-hoc finance and business development projects
Ensure statutory Financial Reporting and Tax filing compliance are met
Provide support for payroll processing
About You:
You could be a qualified Accountant with a few years commercial experience or a first-time mover from a big 4. Either way you will thrive when dealing with complexity and be a natural problem solver. A passion for delivering business improvement projects, data analysis, and a high level of excel nous is a must. It is important that you want to hit the ground running and strive to progress your career in the medium term.
