Financial AccountantOur client operates one of New Zealand's largest tanning plants, where hides and skins are processed through the first stage of the leather manufacturing process, before being exported for further processing.
Due to consistent growth in the business, a new role has been created to assist the Finance Manager and take the financial accounting function to the next level.

Working closely with the Finance Manager and the wider management team, you will be responsible for the maintenance of financial information, including all aspects of the general ledger, and will be a key contributor towards improvements in processes, internal controls, and reporting.
We are looking for someone with proven accounting skills and experiences. While an accounting qualification is preferred, sound knowledge of core accounting concepts is essential above all else. Experience in the agricultural sector would be advantageous.
You must be proficient within the Microsoft Office suite, have excellent organizational skills, and can work both autonomously and within a team of staff across multiple departments. 
We will consider both full time and part time candidates for this role. While you will be primarily based on site, hybrid working arrangements are available to the right candidate.
