THE ROLE:
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, this is an exciting and varied role where you will be responsible for our manufacturing sites financial accounting function. You will primarily be responsible for:
Producing financial reports including monthly, quarterly and annual management financial accounts
Providing analysis of production, capital expenditure and cost efficiencies
Managing our raw stock inventory (paper) and associated stock controls
Review, maintain and develop systems and control procedures
Maintaining and reporting of capex and fixed assets
Provide back up to the Commercial Manager as well as assisting to supervise other members of the Finance team;REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE:
Relevant Tertiary Qualifications required. CA/CPA/CIMA qualifications advantageous but experience more important
4 years + Financial and Cost accounting with strong analytical skills gained from experience within the manufacturing/commercial sector
Exposure to SAP or similar ERP package is desirable but not essential
Advanced Excel and Microsoft Word
Excellent communication skills and ability to grasp manufacturing processes
