In this role, you will provide advice and oversight for budget and financial reporting responsibilities within the designated divisions. You are also required to assist with other finance related queries such as financial data analysis, report writing, and grant acquittals and assist the Management Accountant with the compilation of Council's annual budget and quarterly financial reviews.DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIESManage budget processes and provide budget support, ensuring accurate reporting and administration,Monitor divisional budgets and provide timely and accurate budget reports and reviews to the Director and Managers as required,Provide financial analysis and budget advice, andEnsure adherence to statutory financial and accounting systems, standards and controls.ABOUT YOUYou have a Bachelor Degree in Accounting or related discipline, teamed with solid experience in carrying out finance functions with a large Council or similar large organisation.
