This role has arisen due to a maternity leave and will be for 14 months to ensure sufficient hand overs of knowledge on both ends of the contract. The Role The role of Finance Manager reports directly to the Director of Finance who is well tenured and has been with the business for a long period of time. So you will have plenty of support and knowledge around you. Your duties will include: Provide accurate and timely monthly management accounts, including commentary Prepare annual budgets, partnering regional managers Prepare daily sales budgets for the store network Maintain daily cashflow forecasts to ensure any intercompany payments and term deposits are managed Manage the treasury function including foreign exchange Be the main contact for the annual audit, liaise with external auditors Compute annual bonus calculations for managers Review payroll/wage & commission payments Prepare ad hoc manual payments for private transactions Maintain rent payments and any increases IFRS 16 lease reporting & journals, managing the software program Staff management of 3 Skills & Experience We are looking for a CA or equivalent qualified Accountant who ideally has either managed teams previously or could be looking for an opportunity to pick up the staff management responsibility for the first time. What is paramount is your ability to produce reliable sets of accounts, with strong attention to detail. Additionally you will need to have strong excel capability to work with the models an navigate the templates that are in use. SAP experience is a strong preference.
