Finance Manager Ideally based in South Taranaki, but we would consider New Plymouth, Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch About the business and the role: Monkeytoe Group is an Australasian company with offices in Melbourne, Auckland, Hawera, Wellington and Christchurch. They have over 90 staff members with over 50 of these being based in Hawera. They focus on designing, supplying and installing Aluminium Structures, Egress systems and Mounting Platforms for the New Zealand & AUS markets. Their clients range from Architects and Builders nationwide or ones like NZ Refinery in Whangarei and the Aluminium smelter on the Bluff. Job Description: In this newly created role (responsible for their 4 business entities in both countries) and in line with Monkeytoe's growth your role will be to co-ordinate, manage and lead all finance function deliverables as a strong 2IC to their Group CFO, including people leadership and development. Also to ensure Finance Function acts as a strong business enabler to all in internal company functions & Group companies. Key tasks include:Cashflow ManagementBalance Sheet Management including accruals.Financial ReportingYear End Stat AccountsBudgetingForward ForecastingForeign Exchange ManagementTax ManagementCreditor Payments and Settlement ManagementCAPEX and Fixed asset register maintenance/managementWorking Capital Management including debtors/credit controlIntercompany Reconciliation ManagementInsurance & Trade Credit renewals/claimsGroup Shared Services (Finance)Bank ReconciliationExternal Audit RequirementsDirect Reports Management, Development and MentoringCompany Project and Business casesFleet Vehicle ManagementGroup and Company Risk Reviews with Group CFODepartment Health & SafetyAll other Tasks as requested by Group CFODetailed task description: Full months end close processes to produce Monthly Financial StatementsAll balance sheet reconciliations monthly – Debtors, Creditors, Bank, Stock, fixed assets, Intangible assets, Tax, Provisions and Accruals, Loans, Retentions, Equity, Intercompany, Leases, all other assets & liabilitiesTax payments on time – FBT, GST, Provisional/Terminal TaxWeekly cashflow produced looking forward 3 months.Foreign Exchange Payments executed.Annual Budget ProducedCreditor payments executed.Inventory Analysis monthly reports produced.Flashclad, Impact & MKT back-office finance shared servicesCollection of General Insurance & Trade Credit Insurance for annual renewalsInsurance Claims executionGeneral Fleet Management execution Full weekly, monthly and as requested Finance review processes with Group CFOAnnual Stat Accounts produced with 3rd party/Group CFOCompany ROI Business cases (CAPEX, topline and Cost Optimisation)Other general compliance requirements such as Stats NZ returnsLiaison with Tax 3rd Party consultants for Group/companyRetentions reconciliations and managementQuarterly Risk Reviews with Group CFO – including agreeing mitigations actions.All other tasks to support Group CFO in value creation & general commercial/financial execution for Group.
