Sheridan Maine is collaborating with a prominent group of companies near Christchurch to recruit a Finance Manager. This pivotal role will report directly to the Financial Controller and involve close collaboration with the finance team. It presents an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed individual to contribute directly to the success of both the team and the group Key responsibilities of the Finance Manager include:Manage the day-to-day financial operations across the groupConducting staff training and developmentInter-company reconciliationsPreparing reports and data analysisManaging the preparation of management accountsPreparation of budgets, forecasts and cashflowsReviewing VAT returnsThe successful Finance Manager will require the following skills and competencies:Experience in team management and developmentFamiliarity with group company operationsAdvanced Excel skillsDedicated working style with the drive and enthusiasm to improve processes and to see tasks through to completionStrong verbal and written communication skillsProfessional attitude with appreciation of wider business objectivesAbility to plan, prioritise and meet tight deadlinesYou are required to be eligible to work in the UK full time without restriction.
