Finance Manager

We're looking for a candidate to fill this position in an exciting company.

Work with the business to support growth in both revenue and quality of margin
Head up finance support functions ensuring consistent processes / procedures / systems / reporting are in place and comply with corporate, client and contract requirements
Lead and support the completion of routine monthly tasks ensuring compliance with Ventia policies and accounting standards, and client and project requirements
Focus on continued process improvement, system efficiencies and profit improvement opportunities
Support project team in development and operation of project reporting tools, project reviews and data analysis
Support modelling of costs and benchmarking for future tender and work winning activities

5-10 years experience in an equivalent position
Previous experience in road maintenance and construction works highly advantageous
Successful mobilisation of contract finance function on new jobs
Hands on financial management including production of management accounts, AP, AR, RCTI and client payment claim administration
Proven commercial acumen: administration, R&O, financial modelling, performance modelling, KPIs, and profit improvement
Strong leader and mentor with ability to engage and shift between strategic and delivery environments
Knowledge of commercial contract administration advantageous: variations, registers, standard forms of contract, early warnings, risk management, pricing
Articulate, with clear and concise written communication
