Finance Business Partner

We're looking for a candidate to fill this position in an exciting company.

We are seeking a Finance Business Partner to join our high performing team of finance professionals. Core to the role is providing direction and leadership in the financial planning and management of a business unit's strategies, driving sound strategic financial decision making. You will also be the key relationship and coordination point between the business and the overall Finance group.
The Finance Business Partners are split across two teams and support a range of portfolio's including Operations and Service Delivery, Te Arawhiti (Maori Crown Relations), Policy, Sector and Corporate functions that help the Ministry to operate smoothly. The expectation is Business Partners will periodically rotate portfolio's to build a broader understanding of the Ministry.

Strong analytical, strategic and planning skills as well as being commercially savvy
Experience in management reporting within large complex and diverse organisations
Able to build and maintain positive stakeholder relationships and effective networks across and within organisations
Strong communicator both written and verbal
Strong working knowledge of relevant legislation, specifically the State Sector Act, Public Finance Act and the International Public Sector Accounting Standards
Experience in a similar role and environment would be advantageous
Full CA (or equivalent) preferre
