If you're passionate about finance, sustainability, and making a positive impact on the environment, we want to hear from you!About the roleThe Finance Business Partner will play a crucial role in driving financial performance, providing strategic insights, and partnering with key stakeholders across various departments to support decision-making and drive business growth. This role reports to the Chief Financial Officer. Key responsibilities include:To deliver accurate and insightful feasibility modelling, variance tracking and forecasting for potential acquisitions and project developments.Lead the annual business planning process.Maintain monitoring of budget/actual and forecast costs for all current live projects.Provide monthly reporting and commentaries, including projects in progress, completion, evaluation and cashflow forecast.Perform month end and year end accounting and reporting for all projects.Ensure project costs are expensed or capitalised according to NZ IFRS and IRD requirements.Review, revise, and implement processes to ensure the financial systems across the group are operated at an optimum level.Management of all financial systemsIdentify potential problem areas and suggest appropriate risk management activities.Managing stakeholders and their expectations through effective and regular clear communication.Provide support and advice to senior management and support their decision making.About youYou will have come from a strong financial background with experience building financial models and have sound commercial acumen. Minimum 5 years of Financial Reporting and Tax Compliance experience Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, fully CA qualified with a minimum of 5 years post qualification experienceA high level of accuracy and attention to detailThe ability to work within set timeframes and meet deadlinesA high level of skill using Excel spreadsheets and Microsoft Office SuiteA practical and methodical approach to tasksGood communication skills and interpersonal skillsA friendly disposition and collaborative can-do attitude to the team If you are proactive, results-driven, and passionate about making a difference, we invite you to join Stonewood Group and contribute to our success!  Your application will include the following questions: Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in New Zealand?
