Finance Business Partner

The Finance Business Partner role is a great opportunity for a qualified accounting professional to gain more commercial experience and exposure to business partnering with senior stakeholders. Reporting into the head of FP&A, the role will focus on leading the annual planning process and analysing the numbers to support decision-making and add value to the business.The Finance Business Partner responsibilities include:- Assist FP&A Manager with deliverables and projects- Add value and drive improvement through reporting, analysis and partner with the business (Executive team, Service leaders) and wider Finance team- Prepare Annual Budget and forward-looking forecasts- Prepare, track, co-ordinate and present monthly results to Service and Operational leaders- Perform P&L review and related analysis- Develop strong relationships with stakeholders- Work with wider Finance team to develop and maintain reports, and support business & system improvementsSkills and experience needed:- 1-3 years Management Accountant or Analyst experience- Completed or studying towards a CPA, CA, CIMA or equivalent qualification (ideal but not essential)- Proven experience in financial analysis, financial modelling and forecasting- Solid accounting principles knowledge & financial accounting experience- Strong relationship building skillsThe company is looking for a positive, forward-thinking individual to join their Auckland team and add value from the beginning.
