Job Description

In summary, the role is to provide financial support to the Finance Manager and the wider NZ team. This includes financial and management accounting, corporate taxation, cash management, projects and adhoc tasks. Responsibilities will include:
Month End Process
Assist with month end procedures where requested ensuring reporting deadlines are always met in accordance with and congruent to Group reporting timetables
Financial Year End Process
Assist with year-end procedures where requested ensuring reporting deadlines are always met in accordance with and congruent to Group reporting timetables
Financial Control
Assist with accurate reporting of results to Group/Region
Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts
Assist with the monitoring of monthly results against budget and forecasts
Treasury
Taxation
Projects
Assist with projects providing SME finance support
Ethical Standards
Ensure that a high ethical standard is maintained in all accounting transactions and that the financial records can be relied upon to produce a true and fair view of the company's profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow position
The Successful Applicant

You will ideally have the following:
CA or CPA qualification
Commercial experience
Demonstrated experience in financial and management accounting disciplines
Understanding of corporate taxation
