Finance Assistant - Agresearch

AgResearch is currently seeking a full-time, permanent Finance Assistant to join our collaborative team. Based at our Lincoln campus you will report to the Financial Operations Manager and contribute to ensuring AgResearch's centralised accounting function enables a consistent implementation of company policies and best practices.
What you will be doing
Account Payable: Ensure accurate processing of all invoices and credit notes, as well as staff account administration
Accounts Receivable: Manage the recovery of all debts, monitor and report debt level.
General - Payments Only: Liaise with the Financial Controller/Financial Accountant and Financial Operations Manager on actions and prepare reports as required
Continuous Improvement: Maintaining all information to meet changes in procedures, policy and system changes
Your ideal background
3 - 5 years in a similar role
Previous experience with computerised integrated accounting packages - OCR knowledge is an advantage
Prior knowledge of Fraedom would be advantageous
Working knowledge of local GST and Tax
Ability to build successful client service relationships
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
