Summary of Job Description:
The Assistant Financial Analyst’s role is aimed to provide finance and commercial experience while strengthening financial, accounting and leadership competencies. The candidate will support the Finance Manager, New Zealand in interpreting financial information of the organization which will help in making sound financial decisions.
The role will provide the candidate with the opportunity to gain Commercial Affiliate exposure by providing financial support & analysis to the commercial and financial teams in the monthly sales & expense reporting, budget tracking, assist in the preparation of the LBE's and any other ad-hoc projects which may arise.
Major Responsibilities:
Sales Forecast:Support the commercial team with monthly assumption-based forecasting using commercial models.
Budget Tracking:Monitor, analyze and review SG&A spending with commercial teams every month (includes departmental spend and promo).
Financial Reporting & Analysis:Coordinate the monthly supply forecast and review of workday 8 submission files (e.g. split charts).
Monthly S&OP:Support the Finance Manager, New Zealand by coordinating the monthly S&OP presentation.
Plan/Update/LRP/LBE’s:Support the Finance Manager, New Zealand Manage in coordinating, and consolidating timely, accurate and well supported Plans/Update/LRP/LBE’s for the New Zealand affiliate aligned with the guidance from Area and Global HQ teams.
Ad-hoc Projects –Assist the Finance team with local project work on an as needed basis.
Qualifications
Education/Experience Required:
Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly, good communication skills, ability to work in a team.
Moderate to advanced knowledge & skills in excel, graduate level knowledge of finance/accounting.
