My client is a proud family owned agricultural machinery supplier. They are now looking to add experienced Field Technician to their well-established team. Representing well-known names in the agricultural world, this company strives to uphold the same core values of integrity, quality, commitment and innovation through all facets of their business. This role will offer you a variety of mechanical work, including servicing and breakdowns in the field, workshop repairs, and using the latest diagnostic tools and precision agriculture technology on both small to large-horsepower tractors and farm equipment with one of the world's greatest brands. About the role: Completing repairs and maintenance to all agricultural machinery onsite and off site when required. Responsible for accurately completing all necessary record keeping, documentation, billing and reporting requirements. Providing excellent customer service. Adhering to health and safety practices.   About you: You are a qualified Diesel Mechanic and have experience working on agricultural machinery such as tractors and other relevant equipment. Strong diagnosing/fault-finding skills You pride yourself on your high quality of workmanship and exceptional customer service skills. You are committed and reliable, with exceptional attention to detail, diagnostic and problem solving skills. PC Literate and comfortable using software systems A positive attitude and enjoy maintaining good relationships with both customers and workmates alike Ability to work automatously  Hold a full New Zealand drivers licence Benefits: An attractive hourly wage is on offer, dependent on your experience. A service vehicle, work phone and laptop are also provided including all PPE, work boots and uniform. There is also an on-call rate, meal and tool allowances along with company buying privileges, and a staff account. The hours of work are Mon-Fri, 8:00am to 5:00pm. OT is available and is paid at time and a half after the first 8 hours.
