You will be based in Hamilton where you will be responsible for asset management of track assets in the field.
Te mea angitu kei a tatou: The opportunity we have: Create work-bank plans to support the delivery of KPIs in Asset Management and Business Plans Creation of the maintenance and renewals service requests and work orders and ensuring correct priorities are assigned for these. Deliver the inspection work bank. Provide expert technical advice to achieve best practice and adherence to code requirements. Interface with third parties including customers private siding customers, internal and external stakeholders, RCA and other contractors. Carry out engineering inspections for Kiwi Rail yards and private sidings. Other duties are carrying out engineering inspections and site audits to ensure the asset condition meets code requirements and the Maximo system contains correct, complete, and up-to-date information.

A tertiary qualification in engineering. Demonstrable experience working in the Rail Industry, Infrastructure or Service Organisation - job planning, estimating and project management including cost control and managing job timelines. Experience with asset management systems is a pre-requisite, along with knowledge of best practice asset management principles. You will also possess excellent communication skills and be computer literate - knowledge of Maximo is a definite advantage. Your Benefits: 5 weeks annual leave. Excellent penal and over time rates.
