Fibrous Plasterer

We are looking for Plasterboard Stoppers Fixers and Suspended ceiling Installers. We have multiple permanent full time positions available. A Minimum of 30 hours a week Monday to Friday and some Saturdays if needed.You will need to have a minimum 3 years relevant trade experience or relevant NZ Trade qualification in some or all of applying and fixing plasterboard partitions suspended ceilings fire rating systems acoustic tiles and composite wall linings to buildings and apply decorative and protective coverings of plaster and similar materials to the interiors of structures.Be competent disciplined and hardworkingWork well in a team environmentHave your own tools and transportMust be able to follow instructions and hit deadlinesYou will be required to work as part of a team and follow instruction from the Foreman on site as well as be able to manage yourself when having to work alone.Job Description as below:Determining plasterboard layout and installing insulation and vapour barriersMeasuring marking and cutting plasterboard lifting and positioning panels and securing them to walls ceilings and battensPlumbing and straightening corners angles and wall and ceiling surfacesPreparing corner beads and securing them in positionCovering joins and nail holes with wet plaster and sealing compounds and smoothing them using wet brushes and sandpaperMixing and applying coats of plaster and render to structures using trowels and levelling and smoothing coats to uniform thicknessCreating decorative textures in finishing coatsapplying and finishing acoustic insulating and fireproofing materials bonded with plaster plastic cement and similar materials Full job decription available on request.Pay will be dependant on experience ranging from $29.66 per hour to $40.00 per hour.Applicants must have the right to work in New Zealand.If this sounds like a position that will motivate you and you would like to join our team then please express your interest by emailing a cover letter and CV to ******
