Fast Food Cook

We are a popular suburban takeaway shop located in Kilbirnie, Wellington, serving a variety of dishes, including Chinese, Asian, Fast Food, and Fish and Chips.We are currently seeking two Fast Food Cooks to join the fast-paced kitchen.This is a full-time, permanent position. We are looking for individuals who are great team players, specialize in Chinese work-frying dishes, and are reliable and hardworking. The duties include:Ensuring all Chinese Cuisine dishes are prepared to satisfy the standard.Ensuring all Chiese Cuisine recipes and preparation requirements are met.Taking and serving food and beverage orders and receiving payment from customers.Preparing fried food such as fried chicken and fries.Washing, cutting, measuring and mixing foods for cooking.Operating cooking equipment such as grills, microwaves, and deep-fat fryers.Cleaning food preparation areas, cooking surfaces and utensils.Ordering and taking delivery of fast-food ingredients.May arrange delivery of prepared food and beverages. Pay rate: minimum $28.18/hour - maximum $30.00/hourGuaranteed hours of work per week: 30-50 hours per week, hours may adjust based on the workload, but the maximum working hours would be 50 hours.The location of work will be in Kilbirnie, Wellington.Positions Available: 2 Requirements for the job:Adaptable to change and able to multitask.Ability to work under pressure in a busy kitchen.Be reliable and responsible.Working hard and healthy.Must be able to work on weekends and work overtimeMust be flexible to meet the early morning and late night shifts.Long-term and full commitments are required. Please note your visa status in the cover letter or CV if you are not a New Zealand Citizen or a Resident Visa holder.If you feel this job is right for you, please submit your CV with a cover letter by clicking "APPLY" now.Act on the employer's behalf to conduct a recruitment advertisement.We may ask you to provide a reference check as well as confirming you do not have a criminal record in the past.
