An exciting opportunity for a dedicated Family Law Solicitor to join a well-respected and successful law practice. This full-time position offers the chance to practise in all areas of Family Law, including relationship property, care of children matters, family violence, care and protection matters, and other disputes involving the Family Court. The role is based in Nelson, working with a tight knit team who are passionate about what they do.
What you'll do:
As a Family Law Solicitor, you will be immersed in various facets of Family Law. You will have the opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives by working on cases related to relationship property, care of children matters, family violence, care and protection matters, among others. Your excellent communication skills and empathy will be crucial as you interact with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Family Law Solicitor role brings at least two years' experience in the field but we are open to seeing someone more senior for the role as well. Ideally, you'll have Legal Aid Provider Status, or the willingness to gain this qualification. We are looking for someone who has a good eye for detail, an empathetic manner, a resilient character and a drive to make a difference.
