Factory Production Manager

We're looking for a candidate to this position in an exciting company.

Manage staff and skills to ensure that the daily/ weekly schedule is completed on time. Liaise with the Programmer scheduler to ensure that schedules reflect the current capacity of the factory.
Maintain a detailed skills matrix for all staff in the operation. Implement training plans for selected employees to ensure an adequate reserve of core skills.
Monitor individual and team performance to ensure that all employees are performing to the required standard of output and quality. Participate in any necessary performance counselling.
Work with the Director to flex staff levels and capacity to meet current levels of demand.
Ensure that SOP's are being followed.
Ensure that the production team is compliant with the company's OHS policies.
Participate in risk assessments as required.
Work with the State Manager and State Operations Manager to undertake training and projects, with a view to taking on an expanded role in the business in the future.

2+ years' experience in a senior Production Manufacturing role.
