Production Manager - Joinery Background

We are looking for a Production Manager to join our team in Botany, in the Eastern Suburbs

Unlike your old school joinery brands we would describe our Joinery as... MODERN - ENERGETIC - COOL - ON TREND - EDGY - EXCITING - CUSTOM - FUTURISTIC

And with this mind - we are looking for an energetic soul to come and join us to help take things to the next level.

WE NEED AN INDIVIDUAL WHO HAS:
A Trade Qualification in Joinery/Cabinet Making - with hands on, high-end experience
2/3 years in production management
EXTENSIVE experience in SCHEDULING
Proven track record or working under tight deadlines
Understanding of CAD shop drawing software
CNC, panel saw & edge bander knowledge

AndIMPORTANTLY- A hands on attitude

This role is very much a hands on position and we need someone who is happy being in the midst of manufacturing - We really need a 'lead by example' attitude.
We need an individual who will be comfortable and confident taking the responsibility of leading our team and taking full ownership of factory production & scheduling - We need someone is confident and competent in client liaising and someone who can present well to all levels of tradesman and professionals.

Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of factory production; schedules for production, deliveries & installation
Manage a team of 10-15 staff
Responsible for delivering on production & install deadlines
Oversee machinery operations & assist in troubleshooting
Communicate with clients to confirm delivery & installation dates
Ensure quality of joinery produced in factory & installed onsite is maintained
Training new staff
Responsible for enforcing OH&S regulations
Ability to manage/oversee 10-20 jobs per week
