We are growing rapidly and have just established a second shift, this is a newly established opportunity to join our team and support with the newly established second shift for our production facility based at our office in Bell Block, Taranaki.The Factory Assistant role is a Permanent, Fulltime role working Monday - Friday, 40 hours a week, working on our second shift 3:30pm - 12:00am.This is an exciting and fast-paced role within an organisation that is experiencing considerable domestic & global growth.The purpose of this position is to work closely with the Production Manager in supporting the end to end manufacturing process of our production and packing facility.Key Duties & Responsibilities:Operation of modern filling and packing equipmentRaising quality issues to relevant staff with recommended resolutionEnsuring that labels required for packing jobs are stocked and availableProvide and allocate labels for packing jobs.Printing labels as and when required.Liaise and work with the quality team before signing off.General factory duties as provided by the Factory manager.Production floor assistance involves but is not excluded from, cleaning, labeling, preparing, and packing products for domestic and/or international export.Follow Health and Safety proceduresThe successful candidate will:Excellent communication and capable of following instructionsPromote Egmont Honey Values and CultureTraining and development of staff members in multiple areasSupport and back up to Packing Room team leaderConfident with reading and understanding batch documentsExcellent attention to detailWorking as part of a team to support managers and teams as and when neededWhat is in it for you?We're a small group of ambitious individuals dedicated to our shared vision - helping everyone be their best selves by supporting their health, naturally.
