You will manage company assets, services and provide effective contractor management, while supporting the needs of the operation and business.Your success will be illustrated by working collaboratively with the site leadership team and maintaining great relationships with our contractors, coupled with equipment reliability and delivery of innovation and continuous improvements whilst improving safety, service, cost effectiveness and people development in a sustainable manner.Some of your new responsibilities will be:Management of scheduled and non-scheduled maintenanceDay to day contractor managementManaging costs against a budgetInnovation and continuous improvementProject managementMaintaining accurate records of maintenance activitiesAdhering to Health & safety legislationAs the successful candidate, you have significant experience in engineering, preferably with a relevant qualification and have a strong foundation of strategic leadership principles. What we are looking for:Supply Chain / Facilities Management experienceA strong and successful history of working collaboratively at a senior level with external supplier partners and internal business teamsStrong health and safety knowledgeUnderstanding of lean processSound understanding of Contract Management and Asset ManagementHave proven Leadership skills to set clear performance expectations and foster a strong culture in the teamExperience in creating and presenting business case proposalsStakeholder engagement and management will be second nature as you easily navigate through the wider business, developing strong relationships.
