The role We are seeking a passionate and experienced Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Y9-11, developing lesson plans and providing individualised support to students. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project based learning, experience teaching Y9-11 students, and a passion for education. Responsibilities: Facilitate learning in a creative and engaging manner Develop lesson plans and instructional materials that meet the needs of diverse learners Evaluate student progress and provide timely feedback to students Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and personal growth Provide individualised support to students who need extra help Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to enhance the overall educational experience for students Participate in professional development opportunities and stay up-to-date with the latest teaching methods and technologies Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in education and any other related field (Master's degree preferred) Be registered or able to register with the NZ Teachers Council Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching and experience with NCEA Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members Passion for education and a commitment to helping students achieve their full potential The base salary for an experienced and registered teacher is very competitive (more than 5% on top of collective), depending on the applicant's qualifications and experience. Individuals' actual base salary will be established by a salary assessment once a role is confirmed. We are able to assist with accommodation for an initial period of two months.
