Experience Health Care Assistants Wanted Throughout Nelson/Tasman!

We are looking for an experienced Health Care Assistants to join our business, Extrastaff Limited.

You might be asked to work across the country to assist our projects, so flexibility on work locations is preferred.
The Health Care Assistant is responsible for:
assisting patients with their personal care needs such as showering, dressing and eatingattending accidents and providing pre-hospital care and transportparticipating in planning and implementing the care of patients according to accepted practice and standardsassisting with rehabilitation exercises, basic treatment and delivering medications including the direct support and assistance of therapistsplanning and implementing leisure activity programs for individuals in health care and in the community to assist in their social development and promote a sense of wellbeingutilising a range of techniques such as soft tissue massage to assist healing, prevent injury and promote relaxationsupporting individuals and their families and carers when faced with unwelcome news and life-changing diagnosesperforming and recording clinical observations such as blood pressure, temperature, respirations and pulseundertaking clinical tasks including cannulation, venipuncture and ECGsdiscussing and sharing information with registered nurses on a patients condition, behaviour, activity and responsesensuring the privacy, dignity and safety of individuals is maintained at all timesrecognising issues relating to safeguarding vulnerable children and adultsany other task requires of you that is within your skills and capabilities that is necessary for the business of the company.Pay conditions
Min $26.16 per hour to a maximum of $28.00 per hour
Hours of work
Minimum 30 hours of work is guaranteed
Skills and experience required:
Preferably minimum one-year relevant experience or qualification equivalent to Level 2 or 3Friendly, with good time management and excellent work ethic are essentialTime management skillsA commitment to learning and developing your skills within the industrySound knowledge of H and S proceduresReliable and hardworkingLocation
You may be required to work in multiple locations throughout New Zealand including Auckland, Northland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Hawkes Bay, Taranaki, Gisborne, Whanganui-Manawatu, Wellington, Marlborough, Nelson-Tasman, Canterbury, West Coast, Otago and Southland.
This role will be permanent and full-time job.
