Marketing Assistants/Coordinators (Marketing & Communications)We are seeking a highly motivated Communications Executive to join our team at the Experimental Drug Development Centre (EDDC), Singapore"s national platform for drug discovery and development. The ideal candidate will be primarily responsible for our digital marketing platforms, including our website and LinkedIn account, generating both graphical and written content for announcements, press releases, and social media, supporting events and outreach initiatives, and preparing our annual report. The primary goal of this role is to build and enhance EDDC's image and reputation within the local and international academic, biotech and pharmaceutical communities.Responsibilities:1. Manage and Update Digital Communications Platforms:Curate, create and publish engaging content on the EDDC"s LinkedIn account and website to increase visibility and engagement with key stakeholders.Monitor our LinkedIn channel, track analytics, engage with followers, and respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner.Develop and execute social media campaigns to promote the EDDC"s initiatives, events, and achievements.Manage and update the EDDC"s website to ensure content accuracy, relevance, and a user-friendly experience.2. Content Creation and Updating:Write and edit written content for various communications materials such as news articles, press releases, and reports.Develop graphical content, including infographics, videos, and images, to accompany announcements, press releases, and social media posts.Update corporate presentations and soft-copy marketing materials3. Event Support and Outreach:Assist in planning and coordinating events, workshops, and conferences to promote EDDC"s mission and objectives.Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to maximize outreach and participation in events.4. Annual Report Preparation:Compile content, statistics, and achievements to prepare EDDC"s annual report. Edit, copywrite and organise content in order to showcase our progress and impact in drug discovery and development.Requirements:Bachelor"s degree in Mass Communications, Marketing, or related field, alternatively a Life Science degree with relevant work experience in communications and/or marketingAt least 3 years of working experience in digital communications including content creation, and digital marketing.Strong writing and editing skills, with a knack for crafting compelling copyGood graphical design skills with a keen eye for visual aestheticsExperience with communicating and marketing through LinkedIn, including use of its backend and analytics toolsFamiliarity with website management platforms (e.g., WordPress), graphical design tools like Canva or the Adobe suiteExcellent organizational and project management abilities to handle multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.Knowledge of drug discovery, and/or the bio=pharmaceutical industry is a big plus.Team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate across departments.Strategic mindset with a focus on building and enhancing the organization"s brand image.Proactive and results-oriented approach to achieve communication goals and objectives.Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and visual communication.If you"re looking for an exciting opportunity to contribute to the advancement of drug discovery and development in Singapore and want to play a key role in shaping EDDC"s communication strategy, we encourage you to apply for this position.
